Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk on May 5, 1998. She has won 12 WTA titles throughout her career, which includes the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is another area where she shines. The US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both taken by Elise Mertens. With the Belgian tennis star, she also took home her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in the year 2019, making an appearance in the Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples competing in singles for women. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she was ranked second in the singles world ranking her best ranking reached again in January 2023. In the same year, she was crowned at Melbourne, and after that was ranked number one in the world in doubles. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis star, played with her throughout the 2018 season until the conclusion and the 2020 season. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were her idols.
